Alex Frayne is an Adelaide-based photographic artist, primarily shooting in analogue film formats. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Flinders University and has a pedigree in film  making. More recently, his stills photography has earned critical acclaim, and he has published a trilogy of books through Wakefield Press (Adelaide Noir 2014, Theatre of Life 2017 and Landscapes of South Australia 2020). His work is collected widely and is held in galleries nationally including at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra.
